Name of Site/Business: Business Trade Board

Site's Main Purpose: Ecommerce/Sales

Please Review the following:
Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?

Additional Comments/Notes
Not going to bore you by asking for editing assistance, but was wondering if a few people who know more about coding than I do could take a quick look through the site to see how it stacks up.

Much appreciated.

Hello

First thing I noticed is you are using the same meta tags on each page. Nope don't do it my friend. It's like walking into a bookstore and looking at 10 different books with the same description. Think of your source as what the robot is going to see.. and your content as what humans see. Sure the humans are what will ultimately buy from you, but before they can do that the search robots have to find you. I even went to your articles page, and once again you are not promoting your goods. Same keywords, same description, same meta tags. Do some reading.. there is a plethora of info out there. But I like your site very nice very clean.. smile

Thanks, much appreciated.

I'm getting the impression that having both a site that starts with www and one that doesn't is considered a bit of a no-no, if that makes sense. Is that the case?

Not sure why my developer set it up that way, but he's more of a coder than a marketer.

Also, obviously the site is a classifieds site for people wanting to buy or sell a business. Is there a moral / ethical / google ruling on whether I can scrape postings from other classifieds site. I know the job boards do it, is it consided above board or not. How about if it somehow link back or reference the original source. Keeping in mind that all the info is available without logging in or signing onto other sites, meaning well within the public domain.
